Paddle Designs CanNot Be Copyrighted

Ancient paddle shape and design canNOT be copyrighted, just as the shape of a cross, a circle, a triangle, etc. cannot be copyrighted. Basic shapes that have been used for thousands of years cannot be copyrighted. Native shapes that have been in continual use for thousands of years canNOT be copyrighted. In ignorance, and arrogance, a non-Native individual has recently claimed to own copyright of the ancient paddle design. He is opening themselves to legal action by the Coastal Tribes. .
