Pink Paddle Project

The Journey Enterprises supports the Pink Paddle Project.

We are working to bring the needed help and attention to the fact that Native American women are the most underserved group of individuals in the nation when it comes to health issues, especially life threatening conditions such as breast cancer, and other potentially life altering and/or fatal diseases.

The Journey Enterprises has a local and national breast cancer design jewelry line as the first of a collection of heirloom pieces that will be used in support of the first nations people to rise above the health obstacles and refuse to let them defeat our people.

Our goal is to remain strong people who take care of each other and in these perilous times and take the proactive approach to life challenges to move in a positive direction.

In 2006 the Pink Paddle Project participated in the Native Canoe Journey with a canoe borrowed from Muckleshoot Tribe. The Skipper and crew were comprised entirely of women from various tribes who paddled for cancer survivors, and for awareness of the concern. We look forward to helping them participate even more in the coming Canoe Journeys, and to support in many ways toward saving lives and liberating families from the dread of the needless early loss of life.
